2023-4 Changeover

On July 6th, Sandie Simons became our President for the 2023-24 year. Sandie was our secretary and is married to Assistant Governor Area 5 and Past President Bill Simons, so she is well prepared for the job with a lot of experience in the running of a Rotary Club. The room at the Lord Lyndoch was perfect for the night with plenty of room for people to mingle during the evening. MC for the night was Sue Graetz who managed the proceedings very well. PDG Peter Thomas proposed the Toast to Rotary International and District Governor Craig Dowling did the Response.
IPP Peter Perkins Inducted Sandie and presented her with the Presidential Collar and badge. In her first address to the club as President, Sandie talked about the support we have given in our community that has created hope in our world, the 2023-4 RI Theme. Sandie went on to talk about what we can do in the future and how we can improve our community and also boost our club’s standing.
